The Bruins own the Leafs. It's a fact.

But please take a night off and let us win. We need the points and you don't.

We gave you Rask, Hamilton, Seguin etc. You owe us.

This is going to get me laughed at but here goes:

For one Game
-Play Marchand and Seguin with Krejci, Krejci is not at fault for the bad play of his line.I feel like this top line may get even more chances to score because Krejci is a better playmaker than Bergeron.
-Keep Bergeron with Lucic and Horton, let Bergeron work his two way magic and force those two boneheads to make something happen.
-Make a realistic 3rd line that doesnt need to be benched all night

Marc/Kreci/Seguin
Lucic/Bergy/Horton
Paille/Campbell/Peverly
Caron/Pandalfo/Spooner/Thornton

Edit: I think my reasoning is give Marchand and Seguin an even better chance of scoring because they have been producing, and send Lucic and and Horton a message that they have been sort of demoted.

This is only because Krejci is hurt but i would like to see this.

March/Bergy/Spooner
Horton/Seguin/Lucic
Pev's/Krejci/Caron
Paille/campbell/Thornton

4 legitimate lines.

Or i would like to see Spooner and Seguin together.

You guys could ice a Llama, a taco and a vacuum and it would beat the Leafs experiment with the lines all you want!

I do like your lines, I just don't know if Seguin can hold up the defensive zone with Horton and Lucic as well as Krejci or Bergeron could.

The way Kadri is playing right now, anything could happen tonight. Especially with McQuaid and Boychuk out at the same time.

I think you can mix and match all you want with the lines and the problem will still remain: Not enough goal scorers.

After the Cup season, the B's lost 32 goals between Ryder and Recchi and never replaced the output those two provided. With both Lucic and Horton struggling that's left Marchand and Seguin and Bergeron to carry the weight.

The only thing that's going to change the teams offensive output is the addition of a top six forward that excels on the power play.

Boycuck too? I know he was hit in practice. Otherwise, I sit krejci, he looked hurt the other night.

As far as I know Boychuk will be out tonight, took a Seguin shot off the leg at practice. I figured they would call up Krug but maybe he would have to clear waivers to be sent back down.

'A dry heave set to music', that's great. Really interesting piece, a lot of insight into the Bruins. Thanks for the read.

That said, you guys don't have to win every game, right? C'mon, just lend us two points for the weekend. Should be a fun game tonight, at least it's been a game between these teams this season rather than the brutal beatdowns of the Ron Wilson Leafs. Hopefully it's a good one tonight.

Seguin would shut out the Leafs. He might get a goal too.

I really want to know what happened to Milan Lucic? He looked absolutely terrible on that 2nd goal. He should have drove Grabo into the boards and pinched him off. When the lockout ended all the talk was about him out of shape and how will he react to game speed and he played great for the first few weeks. He came out pissed off and was playing some good hockey. That has severely topped off, if him and Horton can't get going this team is in for some serious struggles. Not too mention the wasteland that has been the 3rd line all season. Really frustrating to watch right now.

Compliments to the Leafs. I don't have much more to say other than if there is no move made to have a real 3rd line this team is in really big trouble.

It's nice to finally get a win against Boston. We really needed those points.

I've actually been contented with how the leafs have played against Boston so far this season, even when losing. Although that's mostly because after last seasons series any game where Boston doesn't get 8 goals on us is a welcome change.

There is a report that Boston is one of 4 teams Iginla has given as a team he would OK a trade to. Don't really know how reputable the source is though.

I'm not convinced he's the answer we need. Yes he has better numbers than both Horton and Lucic, but honestly, that's not hard this year. He's also older and slower than both of them.
